In the Pendulum Ride Amusement Park, guests sit on seats. Two (or more) motors on top of the device drive the “pendulum” to swing horizontally, while the motors simultaneously rotate the large turntable of the seat. As they swing and drop at breakneck speeds, they experience thrills and excitement, seeking a new kind of pleasure amidst their hectic schedules.
The Pendulum Ride Amusement Park consists of a frame, cantilever, drive unit, turntable, seats, platform, and lifting platform. The center of the device is the cantilever, and at its center is a welded cross-arm assembly with two drive units, each equipped with a motor, reducer, pinion, and slewing bearing for speed reduction.
The loads borne by the Pendulum Ride Amusement Park during operation primarily come from the device’s violent motion. The driving torque reverses direction at regular intervals. This periodic driving torque causes the pendulum cantilever to continuously move upward. When the swing angle reaches the design target, the driving torque is discontinued, and the loads at each connection change periodically with the driving force.
