The Flying Turntable ride, also known as the Phoenix Turntable, features a phoenix as its main feature. The phoenix is a popular symbol in Chinese culture, rising from the ashes and representing a new beginning. The ride’s operating principle is that a bottom slewing bearing drives the main body counterclockwise, while an upper slewing bearing simultaneously rotates clockwise. A hydraulic cylinder drives the large turntable, causing the entire ride to flip and rotate in an eccentric, wave-like pattern. The tilting lift and rotation design creates a speed difference between the upper and lower turns, creating a strong sense of weightlessness and providing a thrilling and enjoyable ride experience for riders.
The Flying Turntable ride offers two cabin styles: one with clockwise rotation and one with outward-facing seats. The central phoenix can be modified to resemble a simulated image. Its fiery red color scheme creates a striking, soaring flame upon startup. The ride covers a 10-meter area and seats 24, making it suitable for a variety of amusement parks.
